This vintage sequin blouse is a 1995 Papell Boutique cropped piece — bold geometric gold-and-black beading and sequins over a hook-and-eye front, lined with shoulder pads, handpicked as a true time capsule. 100% polyester with a silk-feel lining, made in India. Size M (Women's), cropped — 37" chest, 19" length, 23" sleeves. Excellent vintage condition. It casts your Rockstar and your Retro Chic — a disco villain, a frontwoman or an awards-night wildcard, layered over a slip or making denim feel like couture.

Nothing here is mass-produced and nothing goes to waste — every piece already existed before we reworked it into a one-of-one. We build with organic Desserto cactus leather, OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified organic cotton and rescued, recycled and upcycled overstock, using zero animal glues and only non-toxic leather paint. Every order offsets its carbon, plants a tree, and arrives in a recyclable box made from post-consumer waste. Sustainability isn't our pitch — it's just how we make wearable art.
Transparency
We think you should know exactly who made your piece and how. Our part-time team in San Diego works in a healthy, genuinely fun studio and earns 50-100% above California's minimum wage, with remote work welcomed for our business side. Each garment costs us about $65 to make — roughly one hour of labor and $40 in materials — and is handmade by our California-based seamstress Rosa Sanchez.
