This limited-edition 1990s 'Starlight' porcelain doll by artist Jamie Englert from the Designer Guild Collection is a handpicked treasure, numbered 0587/2000 and dated 1996 — she wears an iridescent purple-blue gown with layered tulle and gold star appliqués, porcelain head, hands and feet on a cloth body, 18" tall, with original box, Certificate of Authenticity and intact hang tag, in excellent vintage condition. Sustainability
Nothing here is mass-produced and nothing goes to waste — every piece already existed before we reworked it into a one-of-one. We build with organic Desserto cactus leather, OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified organic cotton and rescued, recycled and upcycled overstock, using zero animal glues and only non-toxic leather paint. Every order offsets its carbon, plants a tree, and arrives in a recyclable box made from post-consumer waste. Sustainability isn't our pitch — it's just how we make wearable art.
Transparency
We think you should know exactly who made your piece and how. Our part-time team in San Diego works in a healthy, genuinely fun studio and earns 50-100% above California's minimum wage, with remote work welcomed for our business side. Each garment costs us about $65 to make — roughly one hour of labor and $40 in materials — and is handmade by our California-based seamstress Rosa Sanchez.
